Why the video quality is better than others products? |
A： We only have the hardware compress/decompress products. Usually software compress just use the video capture card,
through the PC/CPU P4 do compress job.Unlike DVR (Digital Video Recorder) the Video Server or IP CAM doesn't have the storage at all.
The SL521/SL511 with the networking DVR use the dedicate MPEG-4 hardware chip to handle the capture/compress/decompress in real-time 30 frames D1 resolution. While the embedded CPU handle the networking/storage job.

A：The Internal of the SL521 has a small Hard-Disk . When the Networking broken, the system will continue to store the image data into the Hard-Disk, till the networking back to the normal state. After that the user Should recover the lost data by use the “download” command.
